JL-241/242/243 NEMA Twist Lock Dimming Street Light Controller

The JL-241/242/243 Smart Light Controller series is suitable for independently controlling adjustable LED street lights (0-10V/1-10V) based on the natural lighting level of the environment. It can be applied to municipal roads, park lighting, landscape lighting, etc.

This series of products adopts a microprocessor circuit design with an infrared filter photosensitive tube.

It provides heavy surge arresters (MOV) to protect the lamp from surge current and lightning strikes.

In addition, a 10-second delay control function can avoid excessive operation due to spotlights or lightning at night.

The series of products can maintain constant and reliable characteristics, and the relay can exceed 10,000 working life cycles. When equipped with a double-layer protective shell, it can provide a longer working life for the JL-241/242/243 series products.

This series of products provides locking terminals that meet the requirements of ANSI C136.41, and also meets the standard requirements of ANSI/UL773 for the use of plug-in and screw-type light controllers for regional lighting.

Work Diagram Explanation:
According to the adaptive adjustment of the environmental lighting level, the lighting output of the controlled LED lamps is adjusted to ensure a constant brightness environment in the jurisdiction area. When the natural lighting level reaches 110% of the rated value, the controlled lamps will automatically turn off, as shown in the process of switching from the red line to zero output below.

Midnight Dimming Function:
While having the above functions, it can also insert a function to reduce the output brightness of LED lamps at midnight, reducing the output value (such as D40) and time period (such as L30) can have several common options, usually ending the dimming process about an hour before dawn. This function can effectively reduce light pollution and energy consumption.

Installation Instructions
· Turn off the power supply.
· Connect the socket according to the diagram below.
· Push the photoelectric controller up and rotate it clockwise to screw it into the socket.
· If necessary, adjust the position of the socket to ensure that the light sensing port points to the north direction indicated by the top triangle of the light controller.

Initial Testing
· During initial installation, it usually takes several minutes for the light controller to turn off.
· To test “on” during daytime, cover the light-sensitive window with opaque material.
· Do not cover with fingers, because the light passing through fingers may be enough to turn off the light control device.
· The light controller test takes about 2 minutes.
 *The operation of this light controller is not affected by weather, humidity or temperature changes.
